Let's see what was going on in metal (both mainstream and "underground") during the past 10 or so world cups. Plus some films. I am only including things that hold up, according to my taste, which is superior to yours, obviously.

(Yes, the 2022 entry is literally empty right now, except for Meshuggah. I haven't listened to anything else this year. Sorry. Been busy making horrible riffs.)
